User and Permissions - Unassigned Applications

Users with the “Assign Unassigned Apps” permission can assign unassigned applications that are not assigned to any group in your organization.

Unassigned applications are not viewed by any user in the Sealights platform unless you turn on the “Assign all apps to this group” toggle in one of the system groups.

Applications appear in this list in one of the following scenarios:

1. A new application was reported to Sealights through your CI.

2. An application that was removed from all groups in your organization.

Instructions

1. From the Sealights dashboard, go to “Settings”
   
   

   Open

   

2. On the left navigation panel, Click the “Unassigned Apps” section under “Users & Permissions”
   
   

   Open

   

3. Find the apps you want to assign by paging through the list or searching using the search bar.
   
   

4. Choose the apps you want to assign

5. Click on “Assign To Group(s)”.

6. Find the groups you want to assign to.
   
   

7. Click on “Assign to Groups”
